The Model
The Haven campus will be a shared property with multiple independent homes where Christian foster families live rent-free — each family its own household, free to foster through the licensing agency of their choice. What they share is the land, the community, and other families doing the same work.
Haven 686 provides and maintains the homes. House parents provide the care. No rent. No mortgage. The financial barrier — one of the most cited reasons families never start or eventually quit — removed entirely.

The Property
What We're Looking For
If you know of land that might fit — or you're sitting on some yourself — we'd love to talk.
Each home will sit on roughly one acre, with access to shared land — a community garden, recreational space, and woods.
Haven 686 will remain debt-free throughout development. Land is purchased only when funded. Homes are built one at a time, as resources allow.
Future expansions may include small-scale farming, equine-assisted therapy, and a dedicated private school — not additions for their own sake, but tools for healing built into the land itself.
House Parents
Haven 686 homes will be for Christian foster families called to this work and ready for full commitment. House parents will be vetted through a rigorous process — applications, interviews, background checks, pastoral references, and a signed statement of faith.
Adoption will be encouraged when appropriate. Families who reach adoption capacity will be able to stay up to three years before the home passes to a new foster family.
There will be no fixed placement quota — one home might serve a single high-need child, another a sibling group of five. What we'll ask is full engagement: as many children as a household can excellently care for.

Current Status
Haven 686 is incorporated in Tennessee, with governing documents ratified and the program structure confirmed with the state — mirroring proven models like TNBCH, Christian City, and Blue Monarch.
